Duck Pond Barn is situated only ten minutes from the National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh, home to the Royal Show and many other countryside events.

As the birthplace of Shakespeare, Stratford-Upon-Avon is home to the Royal Shakspeare Company, the "Shakespeare houses" (Shakespeare's Birthplace, Mary Arden's, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Hall's Croft, Nash's House and New Place, and Harvard House) and Holy Trinity Church, the location of Shakespeare's tomb.
